A few months in sales can be a meaningful start, especially if you reflect on what you learned, like connecting with frustrated customers or explaining complex phone plans. Those moments matter. Try journaling your best customer wins and think about how they’d apply to a CS role, or even a Sales representative is great too. Just tell them your experience and transferable skills.

Just received 2 offers that I’m weighing, both in Advertising tech:
1. Smaller firm about to be acquired by a larger one, Product Marketing role (title would be Sr. PMM)
2. FAANG, Sales Account Manager role (similar to my current role)
I have 5-6 YOE and have been in an Account Management role for most of my career - is it worth making the switch to PMM at a smaller firm or sticking with what I know at a FAANG? Both would have relatively similar comp. Thanks in advance for your input!
