I heard Dentsu has created its own internal AI tools, Dentsu DALL-E and Dentsu-GPT. How cool is that? Is there anyone who could tell me more about how having your own tools helps? Would your agency ever try to create its own AI tools?

Is that REALLY cool?

Its a wrapper on an existing product, every agency has done this. All it does is work with the existing product over an API to keep your prompts and data outside of Open AI’s training dataset. That’s it.

AI is only as good as those who program it. Dentsu programmed it.

All holding cos have their own sandbox AI bc it allows them to have ownership of the images (only pulls from images they own). It’s even worse than AI because it’s legal-friendly AI. Anyway, AI sucks, please stop using it.

Omnicom is also doing this. Every holding company has been focused on this for a few years. Why do you think there's been more layoffs and mergers?

I don't think Dentsu has created its own versions of DALL-E or GPT. I could be wrong but what I think they've done is strategically partner with various AI providers and develop proprietary tools that leverage existing AI technologies. They've also developed a proprietary tool called d.SCRIPTOR, which uses AI to assist with ad copy development for paid search That's pretty cool!

Please help! I'm looking for writing terminology. At our agency, we are getting more into creative writing vs ... executional writing? Please help me find the right term. Creative means developing the big idea (concepting), writing scripts and headlines with flair, etc.) for an awareness "hook" and then the other camp, which includes brochures, one pagers, banner ads, sales sheets.

What should we call the other type of writing? (Cont in comments)
