I hit a salary number I used to dream about and somehow still feel stretched. Between childcare housing and insurance there is not much left at the end of the month. It makes me question how meaningful raises really are. Do you measure progress by salary or by how much breathing room you have?

Current CTC : 11.5LPA (10 fixed); YOE : 4 (1.5years relevant); CIB profile; can someone let me know the salary band for an analyst at JPMC and the hike I can expect ?

I worked at LinkedIn and one of the senior leaders was sharing screen during a meeting. The conversation shifted but the leader didn’t stop sharing screen. This person navigated to Yahoo news and clicked on an article filled with women in bikinis. This individual spent a solid 2-3 mins on the article scrolling and stopping to look at each woman. Needless to say this leader was very distracted by other things on our call.
