Felt cute - might quit later

I got laid off from my job as an account manager at a SAAS company. I’ve been applying non stop for similar jobs in saas for the past 2 months and I’m not having a lot of success with interviews. Either not getting them or not getting an offer because they go with a candidate with more experience (I have 1 year experience). Any advice for companies to apply to or with getting an offer despite not having as many years experience as others?

Is signing up for Siemens (a German based company) a bad idea right now with the potential bad economy coming? With the whole oil stuff and the coming winter I kinda worry it’ll spill into a bad economy for the European market. I have an offer for a embedded hardware role there. I also have an offer for a process engineer role at Samsung Austin. Should I take the Samsung one just in case the economy does bottom out this winter in Europe?

I have my first oral argument before the 2DCA in Florida. Any pointers, recommendations, suggestion, etc. would be greatly appreciated!

So I’ve been a nurse for about a decade ( med-surg, ER, Trauma etc) . A recent law school grad ( didn’t take a bar yet because I am not mentally ready to sit for one). I am currently a Risk Manager at a huge healthcare system and my work overlaps with the hospital’s claims and litigation department. And I am building a network of connections. Medical Malpractice is what I want to focus on later. Where does one start best? Defense? Plaintiff? I heard good things and bad things about both.

The partner I work with wants me to dictate everything for the secretary to type. I feel that I am better at typing and more productive typing my work out. I have never dictated anything in my life and don’t think I would be very efficient or effective at it, I also hate the sound of my own voice. He keeps trying to push me into dictating but I want to type my stuff out, I do not think I am that slow at typing my work etc and I am getting assigned tasks done so I do not see a difference.

I feel like a lot of my colleagues who have been working for a year and a half or two years are going to new firms, breaking commitments with government agencies, etc. Is this normal? I plan on staying with my firm a long time, if the money is right and the future is bright.

Hi I am a Data Engineer. I work in Azure and knows only Sql, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory and PySpark basic. I have Y.O.E 1.5 years & current CTC 4.5 lpa. I worked in ingestion layer. I want to switch my job as I am not getting good project opportunities anymore. So with these skills how much CTC can I ask for or expect during my job switch? As this will be my first job switch so I am kinda not having any idea or knowledge what CTC to ask for and what is the market rate for my skillset?

How some people are clearing interview and then getting into a project even though they don't have any skills, no desire to learn new things, can't perform a very very simple task even though it's already documented clearly, totally burden on team members. They don't even try to do basic troubleshooting when they faced simple issues, rather asks stupid question to junior who is having only 1 years of experience and ask for solution.
I noticed this in every project I joined(Service based company)

I am currently working in non tech as an analyst. I have learnt SQL AND Data warehousing concepts. I am thinking of switching to any data related role Data Analyst/Data engineer. Appreciate your views/thoughts on this.
