What is the funniest and/or most awkward Zoom moment you’ve had at work?

I worked at LinkedIn and one of the senior leaders was sharing screen during a meeting. The conversation shifted but the leader didn’t stop sharing screen. This person navigated to Yahoo news and clicked on an article filled with women in bikinis. This individual spent a solid 2-3 mins on the article scrolling and stopping to look at each woman. Needless to say this leader was very distracted by other things on our call.

While with my previous employer I was on a Teams call with a couple of people client side and a few of our guys. The client was initially demoing some stuff via screen share but the conversation moved on. One of our guys said something that the client didn’t like and the client, forgetting he was still sharing, pinged his colleague with ‘Is this guy f*cking serious?’. His colleague quickly pinged him back, reminding him he was still sharing. Needless to say, the remainder of the meeting was rather awkward!

funny

I often use Microsoft Teams on my phone for calls so I can walk around the house or see a man about a horse. One time I was in the bathroom and accidentally hit the camera button on the call. Luckily one of my colleagues called me out before I went to sit down. I was safe. This time.

funny

I’ve accidentally turned my camera on shirtless before. Leave my camera cover on always now lol.
