Same. And it’s been 2 years. I really struggle with the belly and wearing modern clothes. I feel frumpy and dated. Following for suggestions.
I don't have great advice but I was feeling awful about my body after my second so I just started buying a ton of new clothes in sizes two sizes larger than normal. It at least made me feel more put together
I tried to be really realistic about what I feel most comfortable in and lean into that rather than trying to wear the same styles I did pre-baby. And for me it is a wider leg, baggier jean, paper bag waist shorts, and midi dresses/skirts that flow over my belly. I’ll include some links of my favorites things I have found. They are a bit pricey, but I have leaned into a less is more capsule wardrobe (e.g I only own 1 pair of shorts and 1 pair of blue denim pants and 1 pair of black denim pants and the black I can wear to work). Also, don’t look at the sizes and just buy what fits you best (easier said than done). I have gone up 2 jean sizes which is hard to accept sometimes but when I buy the jeans that actually fit me, I feel so much happier and more comfortable in them.
Damn girl you’re rich 🤑, love to see it.
Your links are AMAZING. I especially love the shorts and the black pants. Thank you for sharing 🩷.
Momma here that had 2 c-sections—for me it helped to buy clothes that actually fit instead of trying to squeeze into pre-pregnancy clothes, getting my hair and nails done, and wearing a bit of makeup. I also did a color analysis to understand which color palette looks best with my skin tone. Total game changer when buying clothes and picking makeup!

While still on mat level, I stuck to atheleisure wear. Before you go back to work, get a nice hair cut and if you like, update the wardrobe. I’ve never done it but I’ve always heard good things about the concept where you make an appointment at a department store and there is a complimentary personal stylist. Or I suppose the modern version is one of those online styling services. But keep in mind your body may keep evolving near term between breastfeeding and continuing to lose the baby weight. So investing in clothing can be tricky.
Postpartum with my third and the farthest from my “normal” I have ever been at this stage (4.5 months pp). Blazers are my best friend!
Also, renting clothes. I’m currently doing both Nuuly and RTR. I’m breastfeeding and I love not having to commit to clothing sizes and also being able to send clothes back to them for dry cleaning
