Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

I hope not. Shits expensive these days. Don’t ask don’t tell. We all would be fired.
I’m sure employers can’t tell you how many job to have but they can make it impossible to have another with mandatory overtime and unreasonable request
Just wanted to mention (in case this helps anyone!)
-having 2 jobs is commonly referred to as “moonlighting” (1 job within normal working hours and the other outside of normal working hours)
- some (most big ones) employers (I imagine Deloitte is one of which) prohibit moonlighting
HOWEVER:
- each state has different “off duty conduct laws” That prohibit employers from regulating their employees lives when they are not on the clock -most companies will have employees sign a noncompete and/or NDA
-having a day job and being a night professor or weekend professor is one of the many examples where moonlighting is a grey area as to if the Employee should ask permission or if they should just conduct their second job and obviously follow the NDA
-moonlighting can’t affect the employees performance, safety etc. and the employee needs to maintain holding up their legal duty of care and duty of loyalty; otherwise employees can be fired at will;
-also union jobs like teachers etc can’t hold 2 union jobs at once

You can but you need to preclear it. They would need to know so there isn’t any conflicts and then they monitor what you do during your “working hours.”
Did part time work for the past 6 months. Told my employer. They didn’t care. I think it depends on the place and if your employers trust you, unfortunately.
No, I would think they could check increases to my social security or something. Not worth getting fired then sued.
I have to tell my company, because I cannot work for two competing agencies and need to clearly define working hours for each. Also being drained can impact client care. I was able in the past have a part time side counseling job, because they were reaching different demographics.
Seems like almost everyone in education has had to work at a minimum of one part time job if not 2 or more just to survive! 🤦🏻♀️
Unless you get paid in cash, they will find out if they audit you.
Deloitte does. I had to get Partner approval and send it to the Quality and Risk team or some other internal team
