Leave and tell them why , you know your worth.
If I somehow discovered that I wouldn't be surprised, that's a common occurrence. Companies often pay new hires more, it's how they attract new people. Confronting management over it probably won't work, most organizations won't entertain a conversation based on what someone else is earning. You could mention during review time that you're aware the pay scale for the position has moved upward, but the main focus should always be on your own work and value to the company.
I always ask my boss like hey I'm just wondering if I can have a 2 dollar raise or even 1.50 if you can . if not that's fine then . Usually I get it since I'm the one they always call or ask to come in or work FH or Dish . Also helps if your boss isn't a complete ass .
Document your contributions and bring them up at review time with data. If leadership doesn’t budge, start exploring outside options, you gain leverage by being willing to walk.

If I were you, I would wait until the review time and bring it to the management's attention. If they do not make any amendments, I would think about quitting the job.

Ugh, that’s frustrating. I’d probably take note and bring it up during my next review, hard to ignore when you’ve been the one training them! But I can see why some might quietly start looking elsewhere too.
