Three or four, but that changes from place to place. The number of cases you have overall and your area of specialty will impact the number of trials too.
100 cases is pretty normal. A lot of places have lawyers with 200 or more. Especially if it's a mix of Lit and pre Lit.
3 or more trials a year is a lot. But it really depends on the case. Catastrophic injury is more likely to be tried than a fender bender. Or at least it should be more likely.
I work for a PI attorney and if we have more than two I woudl say that is alot. Honestly we have several that will look like they are going to trial and we get everything ready and prepared and then day of the trial they end up settling. Its almost like a game of chicken to see who will cave first.
