What are some of your favorite historical fiction books you've incorporated into your lessons? I love The Book Thief!

When you speak in such a way, others love to listen to you and listen in such a way that others love talking to you. It shows you value your team by actively listening to their concerns, feedback or suggestions. I sometimes wonder why companies ask their employees for their feedback when time and time again, they never listen to what their employees are saying.

Just changed job and currently in my 3rd year of H1B. When is the latest I can start the whole employment based green card process? Ideally sooner the better, but I am curious if it is okay to begin the process in year 5 of my H1B for example. FYI I am not from China or India in case that affects the timeline. Thank you.

I’m a first year big law associate in a major market. Leaving for two federal clerkships later this year. Plan was originally to go back to the firm but I honestly hate the work. Fine with the workload just can’t stand the cases and realize there’s no way I’ll ever get to be in trial. Is going plaintiffs side fresh off a stint in big law and a federal clerkship an option? Best way to find elite plaintiffs shops? Am I basically guaranteed a massive pay cut?
