There aren't any "big law" firms that do plaintiff's PI. There are bigger PI firms... some with 100 or so lawyers ... but there are no 500-1000 attny law firms doing plaintiff's PI, and even if there were they wouldn't be considered "big law."

He said in the reply above that he wants to stay in PI. It doesn't seem like he wants to change practice areas.

What area of law are you looking to practice at biglaw

PI defense bills at lower rates than most biglaw firms ; there are plenty of midsize firms and regional firms that pay 6 figures for pi defense work.

Change your last name to Morgan

Any NICU nurses out there? How much are we generally making? I interviewed with a different hospital than where I am now (lower acuity) and they offered $8 more than I am making now. My HR team promised a match if I didn’t leave, so I stayed and 2 weeks later all they said they could do was $2 more. Thoughts?!

I do digital marketing for a PI firm. I want to chat about Yelp. Obviously it’s a platform built for consumers, not for businesses. Naturally, former clients go there to bash or rave about their experience. While I know Yelp’s algorithm, I was wondering if anyone has any advice on pushing the negative reviews down so they’re not the first few that populate? The review replies are specific, detailed, & to the point as to why they’d write it, the outcome of their case, etc. I appreciate any help!

Have an interview with one in the coming weeks and hopefully making the move from PI assuming the pay and fit is right.

Tip to Plaintiffs bar, the tough guy act is not as effective a tactic as you think it is. Bad behavior hurts your clients, gives overwhelmed ID lawyers and adjusters the excuse they need to triage your case and delay reporting for settlement authority.
