When asked why you are looking for a role, say you are looking for a role that aligns with your values and long term goals. A place where you can find stability and growth. Don’t ever say you left a role due to toxicity. There are always ways to coin these words.
The best strategy is to use short-term investment strategies to earn more than your daily job
The job market is really tough right now, so hang in there - you might now be blacklisted.
Could you just say that you left your last role to care for a sick family member - that way you don’t have to explain too much. I think the gap in your resume is probably hurting you - perhaps try to find some temp roles to tide you over and have you currently employed
Was thinking more of a contract role in your field- those are a bit easier to get depending on where you live
I'm in the same boat as you, I've been search for a job for 9 months now.
Not sure where you are located but Exelon hires Sr Finl Analysts all the time. Excellent pay and benefits. Offices in 48 states, I believe. Check them out.
Honestly, changing your reason for leaving could backfire if you’re asked about it in interviews, and it might raise more questions than it answers. Instead, focus on how you’ve grown from the experience and what you’ve learned. It’s frustrating, but reframing your story with a positive spin will help (it's likely they'd find out you didn't get laid off so I wouldn't go that route)
hi, i’m in senegal from Africa, I want to find job in Canada like manager finance or accounting, so I want to have some advises from community
I would just be honest and keep going
You never leave a job without another job lined up... You will struggle to find employment. Your previous employer can share that you resigned versus a RIF. A resignation to a new company definitely shows your limited commitment.
