Yes, depending on the exchange rate and vat refund. My dad bought a skydweller in Spain a few years ago and saved about 2K

With the current exchange rate and VAT refund, you can probably save some money (though you’d have to check Spain’s refund policy and do the math on pricing). If it were me, I’d probably declare it on the way back. Don’t expect to find a Rolex though.

I saved a couple grand on a sub a few years ago in Italy between vat and FX. Doesn’t hurt to pop into A&Ds when you happen to walk by, although probably wouldn’t waste valuable time going out of your way to hit them given low likelihood of finding anything that they’ll sell to you

Had a colleague tell me she requires all Guarantees signed in an individual capacity notarized. I asked her if she still sends breakaway signature pages and she said yes of course. Wouldn’t whatever protection having the execution witnessed/notarized be negated by the fact it wasn’t attached to anything?

For you experts... I’m a first-timer (pun!) buying lux watches. I’m looking at an updated model of a JSC (geographic), to be released sometime Q4 this year. MSRP is 12k few questions:
1) what is realistic price ballpark from an AD (I’m not in a hurry)
2) any advice for reaching out to ADs, especially given this isn’t yet released? I.e., any common mistakes to avoid?
3) MSRP includes leather strap, and looking at current model prices, metal strap adds ~2k to price. Sound right?

Has anyone seen Omega’s new Seamaster? Thoughts? I mean the only thing that’s stopped me from going 20,000 ft underwater is the right watch…unfortunately at 45.5mm in diameter and 56mm lug to lug, it’s too big for my small wrists.
