Breast cancer! I am now cancer-free and do not need chemo, radiation, or hormones. Everything else, I take day-by-day!
Having to take therapy just to finish out the year and feeling trapped like there’s nowhere else to go
I think just surviving the last 3 years has been an ongoing accomplishment that I am incredibly proud of it!
I have too many SPED and 504 students.
I have 17 in one class in a General Ed setting.
Parents who's expectations are unrealistic.
For me, it's probably just getting the kids back into a normal routine post-covid. The disruption of the pandemic really made a lasting impact and I'm finding that most of my students are well behind what their normal targets should be by this time of year. I wouldn't say I've really overcome it, either. Just doing my best every day to get them caught up.
Most of the above posts and continuously trying to translate InPerson lessons to the G- classroom so that they meet online standards, - and more! 🥴 The list continues to grow.
Keeping students engaged in learning and off their call phones , and dealing with the SEL (Social Emotional Learning) aspect. Also, learned helplessness. To name a few of the priorities.

Not having the same number of students on their phones as in the past. Not sure why??
