I am in a confused state of mind with my current situation & I can surely use some advice from you guys.
I'm working with a product company for almost 5+ yrs now & recently decided to separate from them for obvious compensation reasons.
I have multiple offers now with product/service based companies.
The top and the best offer I have is from a service based organization of almost 100% hike.
Now my company wants to retain me & offering me even higher. What should I do?

My two year anniversary of starting my career (in general) is coming up in the next 3 weeks.

Aug 2020- 65k base salary
Jan 2022- 80k base salary
July/Aug 2022- 110k base salary


Just posting as a reminder to LEAVE that job (within a reasonable time 😂) and go where the money is!

(p.s. I already know some of you have had higher increases in the same amount of time & I consider 6 months minimum is “within a reasonable time”)

Do you ever regret leaving agency life?

I am trying to break out of being a channel-specific marketing manager (email marketing, app, SMS) in a CPG/clothing Fortune 500 company. My career goal is to work remote & break into total brand strategy. Initially I'm applying for job titles like: Associate Brand Manager, Sr. Brand Specialist, CRM Manager. The core things I'm highlighting is the impact I made to the overall email marketing program (w/ stats), managing projects, & providing creative direction. I'm frustrated, any advice?

I’ve noticed on Glassdoor, salaries for my level (Director) are higher than my base but have similar bonus opportunity. At what level of pay gap would you push or make a stink? In hindsight I should have pushed more during the hiring process. At 160k base now, seeing ranges in the 170s to low 180s. These are specific to my current company.
