I am what I like to call an early career marketing profession. My experience is limited (some internships, temp jobs). I’m applying for full time marketing jobs. Any advice?

Has anyone gotten feedback on attention to detail? They say sometimes show if sometimes no.
Am I a POS who is incompetent? Tbh I think it’s cuz I’m working on projects that aren’t in my skill set since my last role was eliminated… so the role I’m doing is them squeezing a square into circle, and I know it. Yes, I’m applying elsewhere.

I am so beyond ready to leave my current job, but can’t yet, since bonuses are paid out in January. 😬

In the meantime, I’ve applied to a lot of similar roles (slightly higher) but have not heard - good or bad - from any. Is it common for companies to slow down hiring in December because of Q4 rush, people on holiday, etc.?

Interviewing client side for the first time, what are some good questions to ask that one might not think about at an agency?

I was just informed after the third round of interviews they’d like at least 5 references, two must be supervisors. My last job was a temporary remote job where I didn’t really interact with my supervisor and the jobs before that were at my family’s business (I do not speak to any of them for serious personal reasons.) Anything before that was grad school and I haven’t kept in contact with any professors from over five years ago. What should I do? 😕

He told that my resume will be forwarded to hiring manager.i was told If I gets shortlisted , I would receive a link to fill candidature by evening. Still no response. Does this is the procedure for recruiting in HCL? . If it so, I didn't receive link, so I am rejected?

I’m new on the job search and still employed. I’m looking to grow further in the logistics industry. While I look for work, it’s a bit discouraging seeing how hundreds of people apply for positions I see on LinkedIn. I still apply because you never know and AI plays a huge effect in selections. Should I even bother applying when there are more than 100 applications?

I had a panel interview two weeks ago. I sent the recruiter a status check email last Friday and haven't heard back. I'm really interested in this company and still see the role posted on their site. I'd like to send another email today (to the hiring mgr and recruiter) reiterating my interest along with a list of references. Thoughts on sending the references without them asking? I don't do well with panel interviews and I'm hoping they look past that and check my references.

Got a message from a Bain recruiter looking for experienced hires to start q1. I'm very interested but cautious because they're looking for a speedy process...feels a little rushed. 1099 or w-2 ? I have been given the option though the company prefers w-2. It’s a day rate booking couple of months or more (no end date). Question on UK visa-
My partner will be traveling often to London, once a month for an year starting September. He is getting his visa through work (10 years, multiple entry, 6 months max stay, cost some $1000).

I have applied for standard tourist visa in the past and they are usually short term. It could be max 6 months, but they see your itinerary and allocate you few months around the itinerary

Is there a way to get 6 months multiple entry visa, if I were to join him once in a while.

Working at a hospital with a million programs and services. When is developing an independent brand for a group justified, and when should it remain part of the parent brand?

I am looking to leave my current position due to not having the opportunity to run campaigns and earn experience.
However, every interview I get asked about the campaigns that I have run.
This is starting to feel like a closed loop. Any ideas are appreciated.

I do create some personal campaigns and do social media content on LinkedIn for my personal profile. That is why I get a high number of interviews but I stumble at the starting line.

I am on stage 4 of the hiring process for a job as a Sr Art Director for a CPG brand. I was given a project to develop a product launch. The directions are vague. There are so many ways I could take the project but I’m curious what kind of outline and level of depth you expect from a project like this? I was planning on doing research separately & share so they can see what I normally do, and then a deck showing visuals, mood boards, and messaging ideas etc. Does that seem right?

So I recently got a job offer on the brand side, as a marketing specialist in Canada for a reputable company likes of Loblaws, Shell, Sobeys, Canadian Tire. The role encompasses alot more than just branding, includes ux research and was wondering how much is a good overall package for this excluding insurance benefits.

After going from big agency to in-house, I have the chance to move to a smaller in-house company to be the only creative and eventually begin to build my own team. Ideal situation or terrifying one?
