Hi Fishes, Sometime back I was interviewed for Technical Support Job role in my domain. T1 went well. T2, in my understanding was better only (not great like T1 but not blunder. I felt it was nice and i replied majority of questions). They released the feedback after 10 days with "Not Positive". I am not totally sure with feedback as I replied majority of questions correct. I am being bit curious with "Microsoft" tag. What can be the reason?
Discussion appreciated.

I went out on stress leave when I had a micro manager who had no clue how to be a manager and her leadership skills were horrible. I raised it to HR and they didn’t act on it so I went out on leave to protect my job. Came back after being out 5 months later and others complained and HR intervened and they eventually let her go. Document everything and keep a diary of everything
Go to a doctor and let him place you on medical leave for the stress , migraine and anxiety and depression and sleep deprivation. Take care of yourself and cone back after the 6/8 weeks and see how it goes with the new company. Good luck
Speak via email only, so you have documentation. If he puts you on pip it’s a 3 months process so you will be past March. Just fingers crossed he doesn’t fire, then you have 2 weeks. Maybe you pop in a vacation to buy some more time? You can always see if you can take a mental leave and blame it due to him, or some sort of fmla because then you are protected.
This is a great suggestion. I discussed with my current VP and he agreed to step up and put a wall between us. I gather that the new VP is being pushed to keep me but just doesn't want to. He also doesn't want to wait until the end of March to know my decision, which was solidified on our All Hands today. So he needs to deal. Definitely going to document. I wished I had recorded the last call, but planning to avoid any one on one calls between now and close since HR confirmed he is not my boss.
I knew he was going to push for a decision. His email to request this call was to see where my head was at. Very one sided. He is insecure and afraid of rejection. Also said he was giving me space. We met in person 3 weeks ago and the few chats we had were fine, no drama. I picked up bad vibes and those were confirmed by comments he made about me to others while at that visit. He is a terrible leader.
Fast forward. He questioned my skillset and said usually he would go to market. I clocked that and wanted specifics. I cleared up the technical. He then questioned my demeanor, diplomacy, and drive. He talked to my colleagues who worked with me for 8 months. That's not enough. He then stated I will need to do a series of interviews. He is late in turning in his personnel decisions but want interviews. That was complete news to me and pissed me off. I am not going to tolerate someone insulting me.
I want to protect myself from future situations until close. I have questions for HR because he is getting ahead of himself with data requests for his team and micro managing. I cannot work for this man and need to survive two more months of 'business as usual' and insulate from his bs.
