Oh please. If the Dems had the majority then they could’ve done it. It’s not a sin to exercise political power when you have it.

D1 - by any definition, it often is a sin to wield that power in the way McConnell has. He’s a sellout who follows the money to keep power. It is a sin if you take the biblical stories of abuses of power and it is a sin if you take the moral law approach. McConnell follows his own morality

How do you keep all of your notes-to-self organized? Not actual work product or drafts, but the kinds of things you jot down in meetings or as you’re working (e.g., “client prefers DE choice of law over NY” or “x agreement is best example of negotiated MSA”). I’m using OneNote, but I’m curious how others do it.

Bonus points if you have ADHD and you use this type of thing as a lifeline 🙃

I don’t know whether I want to pursue Auditing or Tax. I’ve done 3 summer internships with Deloitte and am currently in a tax internship with a local boutique firm. I realized I hate doing individual returns and much rather work with financial statements. I’m not sure if this means Auditing would be a better fit for me because I enjoy analyzing and working within financials. I would honestly just pick the more financially rewarding career with better post-big 4 options. Any thoughts?

Can someone who knows more about the law than me explain why the opinion seemed to focus more on when life begins than plain old autonomy? I read both and they seemed to focus a lot on that point. Are these 2 totally separate principles or why would that concept not come into play? Or is needing consent from the dead not a federal thing
