Bain & Company Boston Consulting Group is too slow. For anything you wanna do inside the organization, 12 months of tenure is required. Even for promotions its the same no matter hoew exceptionally you perform.
Whereas Bain & Company has no such minimum tenure requirement. My colleague got promoted in 4th months of joining right out of college.

^^ this is important. another example is if I work for GSK and donate $100 it looks like “big pharma is donating to XYZ campaign”
Good points a1 and pwc1. Is there any value to looking at these sector and industry splits on national level then in your opinion? I tend to only put stock in attribution to sectors/industries when it is totally lopsided and magnitude is relatively large.
Also, there's some info on geography of top contributors if you click on the candidate's name...not sure if you'd find that interesting or not. There's better geographical representations out there tho (think I remember seeing a good one on NPR).

I like to go on the 'Industries' tab. Found the most striking differences to be hedge funds and private equity, education, lawyers, and the securities and investment industries.
Pharmaceuticals industry and oil and gas industry also surprised me, though the magnitude is much smaller.

Remember, if I am an accountant at Chevron and I donate $100 to Biden that's "$100 in oil contributions to Biden". Sector isn't what many people think it is
