I am seeking some guidance. I am a new medical social worker working in our hospital as the hospitals first social worker. So In addition to it being my first social work position in a hospital I am creating my position, with a lack of supervision. I am in rural mammoth lakes ca where the cost of living is very high (ski town). I have my BSW and am set to graduate with my MSW in December. I’m totally empathetic to people that miss offices and traveling. I understand your reasons why, I truly do.

For me personally, after non-stop weekly travel for 4 straight years, not traveling has made me realize how much I enjoy being home. Spending time with family, sleeping in your own bed, consistent exercise schedule, etc.

I for one hope consulting becomes more of a hybrid travel model (i.e. travel 1-2x per month or as needed). Else it won’t be for me.

Anyways, just some thoughts.

R-Systems : They are providing WFH + clarity on the project and team for which I’ll be working upon.
CTS : No clarity as of now, only thing I am aware is that I’m a part of full stack community.
HCL : Some clarity on the project but less package than other two.
R-Systems and CTS are giving same CTC.
YOE ~8
Skill set : . Net full stack + Angular + Azure
