Hi all, I’m currently a solution architect with 1yoe and two bachelors degrees. I also hold two cloud certifications and make 60k a year. This seems very low considering what I’ve seen for average SA salaries for those who hold the AWS SAA certification. Was hoping for some insight on this and if I should seek more compensation. I’m in asset management sales and keen to accelerate my learning in alternatives (private equity, private debt, real assets, liquid and semi-liquid alternatives) so I can have more productive discussions with clients. 1) What are some good news platforms to stay updated on alternatives space in Asia? 2) Besides CAIA, any educational platforms to learn more about alternatives?

I can’t get out. I’m a barred attorney looking to move into a JD preferred role. I don’t like being at a firm. I’ve applied to hundreds (literally) of contract, compliance, regulatory, etc. sort of jobs. I’m not looking for a crazy salary either. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. How do I make the switch? I graduated last year and was working with my university until last month. I extended my STEM OPT with my university before July 5th (first year OPT expiry). I got a new opportunity right after submitting my application & I notified my change in employer (submitted updated I-20 & I-983).
Last Friday, I got another opportunity that is way better than the current one and I don't want to miss. My STEM OPT application is still under review. Would it be okay if I change my employer again. Thanks!

I’m a CRC who manages Investigator- led clinical research projects and I want to transition to a PM role in industry (I would slightly prefer not a PM role in clinical trials since I don’t have clinical trial experience.) Hey anyone has advice on fixed income execution trader in a buy side firm? Sizable firm, good team, very low pay, okay wlb, been here for a year and working for 4 years in total, was sales/ small firm analyst before.
