Is there a market for lawyers to add expertise In crisis management or reputation management? My goal is to counsel clients on how to respond to media inquiries without saying or posting something detrimental to a potential litigation while still maintaining communication with their client base. If so, how to break into that industry? Courses? Books? Certifications?

There’s whole companies and firms that do exactly that. Look up Sard Verbinnen & Co

Oh yeah, forgot about their merger

This tends to be a skill lawyers have in connection to a relevant practice area like breach response, big products liability cases, union busting, environmental law etc etc

PC1 is right - you should become breach counsel/a privacy attorney specializing in breach response

Ok that’s an interesting approach

What is with companies sending a “challenge” or “project” for creatives to complete when applying for a job? Something about it just gives me a weird feeling... like they’re about to just rip off my ideas. Maybe an overreaction but does anyone have insight into why they do this?

Hello Everyone,

I'm currently a civil design engineer, and trying to switch to real estate as a Program Manager. I have an interview in a week where they tell me I will have to work on ( for about 3-4 hours ) on an operational case study.

The job is located in Paris and the job is in French .

Does anyone here have any case studies in Real estate that they can share ? and if they're from France, that would be even better.

Thank you in advance !

I am due to take 2 weeks parental leave sometime in the next month and have an offer lined up. Is it better to tell the new place I would prefer to push my start date to take my leave and join two weeks after (accounting for 2 weeks of notice when I get back)? Would that be burning a bridge with current firm (taking leave and giving notice as soon as I am back)? I want to avoid losing 2 weeks of salary during that time if I can.
