I saw an interesting article suggesting that GenZ might be the first generation to not be smarter than the previous generation due to all their exposure to devices. I find it half true. In my experience, GenZ can be super smart and innovative. And in other things, like very basic things, they are completely clueless. What do you think about GenZ?

I would be willing to believe that, though I think the process has been going on for a long time. The US started seriously dumbing down in the 1980s, or perhaps even before. You used to have to be fairly literate to get out of high school, now you have kids arriving at college who have barely read any books. And there's this idea that people don't need to know things, as they can just Google them. It just feels like this can't end well.

Millennial here. They are the smartest generation for being able to recognize injustice, and being willing to do something about it. The rest of us have been far too tolerant. I do agree that they are lacking in some ways; social skills especially. But again, that is our fault for building a world where billionaires compete for every second of their attention on apps.

Here is my idea for a startup! I collect all the data from career transitions and use Data Analytics to predict the most likely career transitions. I could start with consulting. What do you guys think about this? I would be able to predict based on your firm(mbb, big4), your experience, which role you are likely to move (Faang pm, strategy manager, move to mbb).
