Hi Everyone, I am trying to apply for a Technical Support role at Dropbox I’m entering all the required fields but there seems to be an issue, when I hit submit after filling the form, it doesn’t submit and throws error ‘Looks like you left this blank! Please fill out this required field’ when all the fields are entered already (I have checked so many times, and filled the form from scratch several times too). Anyone from Dropbox who can put me in touch with HR or suggest what I should do next?

I think a reframe is in order. Learning new skills is investing in yourself and your future.
Technology and tools change. Often rapidly. If you’re not willing to spend time learning, then you’re going to fall behind and find your skills are outdated.
I don’t know of any real career that doesn’t require continuous skill advancement. I wouldn’t want a doctor who hasn’t learned anything new in the medical fields since completing their residency. I wouldn’t want an accountant who hasn’t kept up with current tax laws touching my tax returns. I wouldn’t want a software engineer who hasn’t learned anything since studying C in college creating my app. I wouldn’t want a veterinarian examining my dogs who stopped studying after vet school. I wouldn’t want an engineer designing a bridge who hasn’t learned anything about material science since getting their PE.
Get the picture? Why should your career be different?
You think companies give their software engineers time during the day to just go study? Maybe some do. Most don’t. I used to be a software engineer and am still highly technical in my role. I’ve invested thousands of hours of my own time learning and growing my skills for my work. That’s how I earned my VP position.
My brother is a doctor. He reads and learns after his shift. Yes, it’s a requirement for him to learn and study to keep his license. No, that study time doesn’t come while he is on the clock.
My other brother is an accountant. He also spends time outside of work studying. His company does not pay him for that time, it is personal development.
My sister is an elementary school principal. Guess what? She ALSO spends time outside of her workday learning to support her career.
Want to be good at your job and stay relevant? Expect to invest in yourself with time and study.

Many companies expect continuous learning, especially with software changes. However, organisations that support training during work hours tend to retain people more effectively.
