I spent three weeks on a deck that my director presented to the board today, and she didn't mention my name a single time. In fact, when a board member asked a specific question about the methodology, she took credit for the innovative approach I developed. I’m sitting in my cubicle feeling invisible and used, but I don’t want to cause a scene and get labeled as difficult. How do you reclaim credit for your work without sounding petty or aggressive to leadership?

Unfortunately, I think this is just part of being an employee. And why management is so attractive. You get a lot more credit for a lot less work. I would just make sure that your hard work is reflected in your annual review, and not concern yourself too much with getting public credit, since it doesn't sound like it's going to happen.

Hello all. My company just went through an acquisition and the company did some restructuring of job titles. When they did this we were all advised the company would be making sure our jobs pay aligned with the national average.
My issue with this is my job title went from a Technical Support Supervisor to a Customer Success Team Lead. I have voiced my concerns with management but have been advised job titles are semantics. In my eyes this is a demotion, and will affect how much my job is worth.
