Yes. You are talking about the axa health insurance. You need to make an appointment with doctor care anywhere (GP) and ask for a referral for psychotherapy and then follow the steps. There is a policy excess so each year you have to pay the first £100
How does this work pls? This is great btw!
I recommend using GPT (turn model learning off of course for more privacy), but yes a lot of people online said it’s helpful and cheaper than therapy. Maybe use in conjunction but if you need something short term may help
Ah yes generative empathy, that sounds healthy
You would have to have a diagnosed condition to access AXA otherwise you can access EAP. Not downplaying the importance but I don’t believe AXA are providing a talking therapy without a diagnosed condition to work through e.g. CBT for anxiety
Where did you hear about 10 for 100?
Do yoga
It’s not, A2.
I didn’t go through the GP route - instead, I just called the number listed under mental health support on the AXA website when you login. They were really helpful and set up an initial appointment with a clinician, who then referred me for therapy. I was given a list of therapists to choose from. There’s a £100 excess once per financial year. Initially I was offered 10 or 20 sessions (can’t remember which), but more were approved after a progress report from the therapist. Hope this helps - take care!
Hey would appreciate if you could provide the link without having to go through gp thanks!
