I want to hire someone to fold my laundry. I live in a home and spouse washes and dries the laundry, however, it takes me HOURS to fold and put away when I’d rather use my precious weekend...

Wait why does it take hours to fold laundry?

like

Maybe try doing more frequent, but smaller loads of laundry. And commit to folding right after. When there’s less to fold, it’s way less daunting.

For sure you can hire someone! Hire a high schooler for a few hours a week!

Find a cleaning lady who will do this for you. The ones in burbs that do this are rare unicorns. Once you find one don’t let them go.

I know a ton of people in the suburbs of boston that hire people to come and do their laundry. They might have them
Two afternoons a weeks to cook, food shop, fold, change sheets, the domestic shit that has to get done. Start with your babysitters or cleaning lady or nanny, and see if they’ll take ok extra duties. Task rabbit or concierge or babysitter. Lots of options

Awesome. Thank you!

I dress myself and my kid out of the dryer.

Swap dryer for laundry basket...
Can the kids pair socks or fold undies (if you do that)? Fold while watching TV?

...to hang out with my kids. Do you hire help for just laundry? Tell me about how beautiful it is on the other side.

I had a babysitter for a while who'd do this (part of her scope). IT WAS GLORIOUS.

we have since moved to a new city and I haven't found replacement help like that (YET).

New baby coming soon so my backup plan is to have it as part of the nanny's job description.

How about care.com?? Hire a family helper to come twice a week for a few hours at a time?

My nanny washes and folds the laundry fir my three kids. It is wonderful and it is part of the job responsibilities. My husband and I each do own laundry and fold. This works well for me. If my nanny did not fold the kids laundry, they’d probably be in wrinkled clothes except on special occasions.

I do laundry on days that I work from home and fold while I’m on conference calls. HOWEVER, I know a lot of people like wash club if that’s available where you are. http://www.washclubnyc.com/

Good afternoon everyone,

I am switching careers from Clinical Social Work into Project Management. I possess many transferable skills and a PM certification. I'd love a referral to PM roles at Google, Meta, Amazon or other Big Tech Companies. I'd also love to connect with other PMs in the tech space on LinkedIn if interested!

Can someone explain the difference between FB’s Partner Solutions Manager and the Strategic Partner Manager? From an initial recruiter call, it seems the SPM provides the consultative product recs while the PSM onboards the client onto that product and tracks performance to provide actionable recs as needed. Anyone know career growth and salary for these two? I don’t want a sales heavy/only lateral growth role like their client solutions manager roles so these seem like good compromises?

Hi everyone.
Just reached final on-site round for a Senior Manager position in the logistics department. Role is for Amazon UK. Recruiter is asking me now for my expected compensation (base salary + total comp) via email. Any idea what to aim for?

I don’t know the level but was aiming £80k base, +15% bonus. If I don’t fall under their budget, would I automatically be removed from candidates?
Any tips are appreciated!
