McKinsey & Company McKinsey & Company I have my first rounds (2 cases) for a position at the risk practice. Will I be interviewed by consultants in the risk practice? I wonder if I can ask some risk practice specific questions at the end of the interviews. (Didn’t get the names of the interviewers yet so I cannot google)

Welcome to Texas!
Not texas, only dallas
I grew up in California with front garages. Lived in Chicago for 10 years, where all garages open to the alley. Now in UP, same deal.
It makes you realize how absolutely architecturally atrocious front garages are. Seriously, who wants to stare at a giant piece of sheet metal as 50% of the facade?
False tradeoff. You can move the square footage wherever you want. Eh make the for t yard small by pushing the house to the front if you want to maximize backyard.
Thats is very normal here. Welcome to Texas
Where is this not normal?!
Every other city in Texas except dallas
I agree. I can’t stand the rear entry garage. You give away half your backyard just so the front (that you won’t ever use) is untouched.
I guess it’s a preference, but I made sure my agent didn’t show me anything with a. Rear entry garage.
It’s so that the streets would look extra nice without cars, but so many people use their garage as storage and park out front anyways. Then the narrow streets are impossible to drive through because of all the cars out front. I hate them. I’d rather have a full back yard.
Well I have front Garage for my home in McKinney which is not downtown Dallas though.I think it depends on the community
Not downtown? That’s a whole county away...
Soooooo much easier to have rear end garages imo haha
Yes it’s really odd to me
Yeah, it’s weird.
Yes. Very normal here.
