I wanted to use my MetLife Legal plan for a small demand letter against my landlord. Im worried that MetLife legal plan participants (lawyers) may say no to my case because it’s small.

In short, all the items deducted from my sec deposit are by law not allowed which I’ve studied upon. But, landlord is a pain to speak with.

Even if there fee is higher than what I’m asking for, technically I don’t have to pay anything because it’s a legal plan. Anyone ever use MetLife Legal for a small case?

Currently unemployed, and looking at a job offer of around 62k base, small firm. Not my preferred choice but this is the first offer in three months. They also took a month to get me the offer with corona and internal restructuring. Two questions:
1) The contract doesn’t mention a notice period in the probation period. What’s a good way to ask? 2) If I manage to secure another offer between contract signing and start date, would this involve any financial liabilities?
