I usually, say I was laid off, or the company was doing some downsizing. I haven't been called out on that yet, but it is risky.
Just keep things very positive and optimistic. People get fired and laid off all the time, it's not that big of a deal. Talk about what you learned from the experience and what you're hoping to find in your next position.

That would shake anyone. I would frame it around organisational change or misalignment rather than absence of cause. Most hiring managers understand that not all exits are fair or transparent.

I don’t think it would be a big issue, as it can be common for being fired / laid off especially around this time of year unfortunately.
