I was interviewing for a job, and I was in the middle rounds. The HR manager sent me an email a couple days after my interview to let me know that they were still interviewing other candidates and to stay close by. Then a few days after, I got an email rejection. What happened here? I was surprised by the mixed messages- in my experience you usually don't get an email from HR asking you to wait unless they're interested in you.

I found using GoFormative’s free version to be very helpful in teaching new topics to my students. I embed videos I make demonstrating how to complete a question, next I ask them to complete an example showing work, and then the next question they type their answer so it automatically alerts them to see if they answered correctly. It can be used live in a meet and on an independent virtual day. In my google meets, I’m able to give feedback on any question they have trouble with in real time.
