There's no way of knowing for sure, but it's definitely a possibility. Up to you to weigh the pros and cons and decide which option is least risky: having interviewer know you were fired after three weeks or possibly being caught lying by omission.
Background checks usually aren’t for every job you’ve ever held. It’s verification for what you put on your resume, identity, and a security check is most common. Now, that’s not to say it’s impossible to show up. I’d have something ready to say. You were briefly employed, but moved on to find a better fit. Unless you have a long list of 2-3 week jobs, you’ll probably be fine.
