I was reading a book with my grandkids about how parents are actually doctors, accountants, teachers, and artists all rolled into one. Very true! I think parents should be able to put child rearing skills on a resume as a strength since it takes a lot to be a parent these days. Has anyone ever tried that before?

I didn’t put it on my resume, but I did use some stories from parenthood to show some skills. You are a true jack of all trades as a parent. If that doesn’t speak to your experience, not sure what will.

Absolutely, or at least be open to hearing it. I can appreciate that not every person out there can understand, but that is also up to us to explain in a way they can understand.

I haven't tried this, but I agree with you because parenting is a lot of work if we are being honest.

It's crazy how much work it is.

I think it would be good idea to do it. I do not really know how it is going to go

Hi Fishes,
I am currently working with TCS as PL/SQL Developer. I have 5 years and 6months of experience. And my CTC is 6.47LPA (Including 54k variable pay) . I have cleared technical round interview at Infosys. Waiting for HR discussion. I am expecting 13LPA (including 10% variable pay). Will they offer job with this package? Or this expectations is too high?

Thanks in advance

Hi all,
I bought access to Wall Street Prep’s modeling courses to enhance my modeling skills. I find that the material is a few years old and the guy in the video explaining everything is super monotone and boring. I just don’t feel like I’m learning much.

Would anyone have any good recommendations for other modeling course providers? Should I stick with WSP? Any and all advice/responses would be helpful - Thank you in advance !

Hi fishes,
I am currently working as a Data Science Analyst in Amex and would like to make a switch to Fraud detection/Credit risk modelling in future.(not in a hurry but would like to start preparing for the same)
How should I go about preparing for it? Is MBA the only course?
My current tech stack is Python, Pyspark, Hive, SQL, ML, DL(specifically NLP based). I have already done MS in CS from IIT Kgp.
I am confused mainly cause the tech stack requirement is similar to my role in the company.
