Maybe you're just that great of a candidate who interviews extremely well!! Congrats.
Is it a reputable company? Do a bit of research including here on Glassdoor and LinkedIn. How many employees do they have, and what do those employees say about the company online?
If it's a scam, they may be asking you to purchase something (like your own laptop to work from, or some kind of background check fee) which is a HUGE red flag. Do not join a company that is asking anything financial from you.
Another time I used the same approach… it probably saved my career at that point. The company offered me the job. I was excited the salary was great. Benefits were great. They asked me to come back and meet the CEO and when I did come back. I found out that some of my first tasks were to deal with an age discrimination case and a sex discrimination case. Additionally the reason they are hiring me is because of my union avoidance training.
Quite a hornets nest!
After digging around a bit more, I decided not to pursue the job offer any further. This company obviously had some serious problems, and I was really not interested in becoming the hero to the employee population.
I experienced that in my early career, and turned out the company had a super high turnover rate and the job was miserable, so they were desperate to hire people. This may be a good company, but you may want to do research on them, which I'm sure you already do. I would still take the job, as you can always quit if things don't go well. Just make sure it's a legitimate company.
....where in the world was this? I have not had this happen to me since I interviewed to be a cashier when I was in high school 20 years ago. I honestly did not know this still happened.
Just watch what happens next. Definitely do your research on what the company is like and take into account how the interview went for you. I have known some companies to hire quickly, just not something we see a lot of right now, so understandable that it’s a bit jarring.

It depends on context. Urgency can mean clarity or desperation. I would ask about turnover, training, and expectations quickly. Fast offers deserve slower scrutiny.
