Apply internally. They will more than likely support your transfer. The other will leave a bad taste, as it almost feels sneaky and not professional
Yes manager 3 I agree! It would realistically be stipid of me to do that!
It would be tough to explain quitting and then reapplying immediately. You might even be marked ineligible for rehire if not done correctly. Easier to do an internal apply, but you have to be consistent in following up with it. Would there be a possibility of getting more hours where you currently are?
When working in jobs transfers usually easier but it really depends!! Don’t think quitting and reapplying is going to help!

Applying internally is usually the better first move—it keeps your tenure, benefits, and shows you’re trying to grow within the company. That said, if internal requests keep getting ignored or blocked, quitting and reapplying externally can sometimes get more traction. It really depends on how supportive your management is.
