I work in finance and hosted/moderated a panel at a client facing conference in a subject related to my role. Should I include this in my resume?

Yes, this would be appropriate to include if it was a major presentation and not a routine one. Presentations are a part of the job, so you wouldn't want to include every one of them on the resume. Being a special presenter at a large conference would be worth noting because it tells the prospective employer that you are considered an expert in your field.

Absolutely! Hosting or moderating a panel shows strong communication and leadership skills. It also highlights your industry expertise and client-facing experience. Just make sure to mention the topic, your role, and any notable outcomes or feedback to showcase its impact

How does search work at McKinsey? If it’s up to x weeks paid to find a job, how will they know if I’ve already accepted an offer? I’m trying to strategically declare search so I can have a backup offer and use my time to find something better, but I want to make sure that I don’t get in trouble lol. It’s also difficult to multitask finding a job and working on studies since you’re around the clock.

A large part of my job involves building models or making reports that involve copying numbers from one document to another. Sometimes, if I get interrupted, I lose my train of thought and make mistakes in getting the right number. Nothing disastrous has happened, but I’m trying to figure out how to get better at not losing my train of thought when doing work that basically involves looking up numbers from various documents. Any suggestions?
