I am tracking one that has been open for the same period of time, probably longer, since I don’t know how long it was there before I noticed it.
Not like a hope to get it but I really wonder what is going on there. It is not like they are looking for an astrophysicist, and I don’t believe that no one with matching qualifications has applied. And even if that is the case, there are plenty of people who are missing so little that they could close the gap within the first year of employment or less. I would love that job, and I am sure I am not the only one.

Also, there is someone who is actually performing the duty while they keep looking, so I wonder what that person feels about that. I would be really frustrated if I were the one performing the duty but not getting an official promotion.

Hi Guyz,

I went through the entire recruitment process and got selected for IBM ISL. Now I am being told by the HR that they are unable to release offer as there is a hiring freeze.

Can any one please tell me if its correct or just an excuse not to give me offer. If its true, when will this freeze be removed?

On the topic of intimacy with partners… I’ve been with my boyfriend for 2 years and the past year his libido has dropped to zero. Mostly due to work stress (he says). Whenever I try to initiate, he always shuts me down and says he’s not in the mood. I even touch him and he gets hard but stops me as soon as I try to unzip him. We went from once a week to maybe once a quarter.

I’ve talked to him about it and he says I should take care of myself. So frustrated. 😭😭

What are some of the best consulting firms for digital strategy roles? Looking for a change and was wondering which of the T1/T2 firms have digital practices in Canada. I have applied to ATK and McK. BCG is working to establish their presence in Canada but their team is focused on establishing top down. Bain doesn’t have digital focus. Can anyone shed some light on other T2 firms?
