I don't mind the raids maybe Americans will get more jobs and get paid what they are worth instead of being undercut by someone who's here legally
I've been in the food industry for 20 years believe me I've been let go because they hired someone who was here legally for cheaper than what they were paying me
I agree they don't get paid less they work harder and longer to make those paychecks. But they also know how to save money and not overspend and have a gazillion bills to pay. They share housing so it costs way less and they can save more money.
Unfortunately the ones that get screwed are the people who demand a living wage and breaks and stuff like that. (Which everyone working deserves) Immigrants want to keep the work so they barely take breaks and work 100 hours a week.
AFAIK they are targeted raids, i.e., those establishments harboring illegal immigrants. If you are not doing anything sketchy, no need to worry.

I’ve seen those videos too, and they’re hard to watch. It’s wild to think about people just trying to do their jobs and then suddenly getting caught up in something so intense.
We haven't heard anything about that happening locally. I think they're mainly targeting places that will get them a lot of press coverage. Like the guy in the article says, they mainly want to scare people.
So glad to see this is finally happening. Illegal immigration is just that it is a crime it should never be tolerated .No more or by businesses that employ them. I hear people in this thread blaming politicians who yes are guilty as well but if businesses didn't employ them well you know the rest. These raids are probably happening Blue States who claim to just want to protect these illegals but then exploit them for cheaper labor and expect them to assimilate to American values. The left couldn't be more at fault all the way around. Americans are done with you idiot criminals.
They earn those criminal records by doing exactly what they are doing.... illegal stuff!

Thing is today…..many of the younger generation does not want to work, guessing they feel they are entitled so someone needs to serve and help the helpless public. Many are so addicted to their phones they can’t think anyway
