The fact that this story has been told a thousand times though 😩😩😩😩

The moral of the story is that this guys hustle was initially disputed by the more effective hustle of the robbers. But, they hadn’t anticipated his backup, harnessing the power of his dogs hustle.

He’s now updated his profile to include his new title: CEO Violent Dog Holdings.

I've seen this exact story before somewhere else from someone else. My biggest pet peeve!

Possibly. 🙃

Couldn't agree more, in the name of sympathy, empathy and vulnerability, LinkedIn has become the new Facebook..
And such posts get recirculated so many times!! Would like for LinkedIn to be back to being a bit more professional and not another FB..

Ridiculous, what crock. Those are blue pit bulls, the most desired and rare color. Even if he did get them at a rescue, they wouldn’t have been adopted out if they were showing aggression towards strangers - especially as pitbulls.

I didn't get 'aggressive guard dog' from the post but maybe I didn't read closely enough - I picked up more of a 'protect my human that some bad guys just hurt' thing which in my eyes is very different than the whole guard dog thing but I definitely agree with the pit bull/tough guard dog image being a damaging stereotype esp in the rescue realm

This is from years ago and someone else's story..not even a header line to say..hey this is a repost from 20 years ago from someone else but thought it was a good story to tell. And true what is happening on LinkedIn In..Yikes..Were they secretly bought out by Facebook..Meta as some have pointed out.

What would motivate someone to completely fabricate (or I guess, plagiarize) this stupid story

But it's definitely a crock

Im working at a big multi-product company and we're having 5 dedicated product teams, however, teams are working in silos. Each team's has its own process, design system, technology etc. We identified that most of the teams use and need components that were already conceptualised, designed and developed, for our other products, and we are starting to create a global set of components, a global design system that we will use on all our products. What is your approach?

I love watches. Haven’t bought anything fancy above an Apple Watch though, but would really like to buy a Rolex soon. However, I wasn’t raised to really purchase anything quite that fancy or expensive so I’m also struggling with that feeling. Anyone want to share if they had a similar experience and if so what pushed you to finally take the plunge?

Does anyone else feel that the more content someone puts in their LinkedIn headline, the more full of it they are? I say this as someone with a bunch of stuff lol but at least it’s all at one company and accurate.

I’m talking mostly about two kinds of people. 1. The influencer who is actually unemployed, but lists 25 BS things they do
2. The brand collector, who writes “ex-“ for every former company they worked at and school they went to. Maybe less full of it but still insufferable.
