If I’m in the process of moving from a TN visa to H-1B. I’m assuming I cannot change companies during the transition. But, after I receive the H-1B visa - how difficult is it to change employment? I know with TN visa it’s not that difficult, but not sure if that would be a roadblock with the change. I’m Canadian.

Anyone looking at traveling to Costa Rica? They have a list of states from which they will admit tourists while also requiring a negative covid test, health history, etc. As someone not on the approved list, I am bitter and curious why the population is grouped at a state level when there are massively different rates of infection within each state (not to mention personal responsibility) and you are already required to present a negative test. Any idea how often those lists get updated?

Is there a way of bypassing the H1B lottery? I was told by an external recruiter that if I joined their London team, after a year I could go through H1B process without the lottery.
