If you’re stuck on a deserted island and can only bring 3 books, then what would you bring? Assume you can only access these 3 books for the rest of your life (I.e., will need to read over and over again)

1. How to survive on a deserted island
2. How to build a boat
3. Man’s search for meaning - victor frankl

Honestly I would look for one book on how to survive and the other two would have to be deep to keep my brain cranking. Maybe a stoic philosophy book or something.

The survival book is a very smart idea and I’m going to copy

I can go first

1. Meditations by Marcus Aurelius
2. History of the Peloponnesian War
3. Romance of the 3 Kingdoms

Anyone willing to share how much they are making as an Mri technologist in Chicago? I know downtown pays better then suburbs. I work in one of the big university hospitals and make 40 per hour. I have masters and 6 years of experience. I recently learned that a new grad who doesnt have his state boards yet has 39 per hour. A coworker experience of 20 years gets 50per hour. Not sure what to think of their weird pay scale. 🙂

Hi,
CCTC including all benefits is 16.57 with 8.3 YOE, primarily focused on Manual Testing.
Is it worth looking for another opportunity?
I am afraid after seeing layoffs news of EPAM, Publicis Sapient & most of the other companies calling employees in the office.
I love my WFH in PwC India & base location of Kolkata. & the best thing is stability in PwC India, they never lay off!!
