“Cant Hurt Me” by david goggins. His life story is insane

The obstacle is the way by Ryan Holiday. It’s based on stoicism but in general provides practical advice on getting through tough times or being prepared for them. Man’s search for meaning by Viktor Frankl takes an extreme example but principles can be applied to any scenario. Recommending based on my preference but to each one their own!

Daniel Goleman's work around emotional intelligence.
Brene Brown's books, can start with 'atlas of the heart's
Andrew Huberman's podcast for overall scientific approach to mental and physical strength building.

From an autobiographical POV you can go with Rajat Gupta's Where the Mind is Without Fear or even Show Dog. Both talk about some pretty daunting downs and how they persevered.

For a more philosophical take you can check out Seneca's work on Death. Or you can pickup Herman Hesse's Siddhartha. Both talk about the spirituality and meditative aspect of mental fortitude.

Has anyone gotten a fever a few days post transfer? I’m 6 days after an FET and my body is now really warm - 101 degrees. I feel totally fine otherwise. I popped 1 Tylenol and took a quick cold shower to try to cool down, and am trying to reach the doctor

Has anyone notice a significant increase in rep cold calls (emails)? Every since I joined a new agency last year, the emails have been non-stop. Even one rep reached out to me on my very first day…I’m speaking with a vendor if they would be relevant to my clients but a lot of them are not. I’m trying to ignore them but it is a lot. How do you handle all the oncoming rep emails?

Looking at exits into pharma and biotech. Have an opp at a biotech at the SM level. Total comp excluding equity is around $190k; RSUs vest over 4 years with annual refreshers, so first year equity would be around $6,200 and it would go up by $6,200 each of the next 3 years, plus whatever base bump I get. Very good benefits package.

They envision 2-3 years before I jump either to AD or right to D. Solid opp? Or hold out to go straight to director level?

Ladies, I have a townhouse that I'd like to rent out furnished. I'm looking to do long term, but having trouble finding a property management company that will do this (they all say unfurnished). I would like to find someone to manage it for me as I will be out of state. Anyone here rent out properties and have any suggestions on how to go about it or recommendations of property management companies? I'm in Colorado if that helps. Thank you!

For me, I set 20-30 pg min/night and listen to a different audiobook to/from work. The audiobook thing is new as I've never read >1 at once. Considering 1 chapter/night w/ 3 different books (3 ch/night)... I just want to read them all though not sure - may muddle if one > others.
