The obstacle is the way by Ryan Holiday. It’s based on stoicism but in general provides practical advice on getting through tough times or being prepared for them. Man’s search for meaning by Viktor Frankl takes an extreme example but principles can be applied to any scenario. Recommending based on my preference but to each one their own!

From an autobiographical POV you can go with Rajat Gupta's Where the Mind is Without Fear or even Show Dog. Both talk about some pretty daunting downs and how they persevered.

For a more philosophical take you can check out Seneca's work on Death. Or you can pickup Herman Hesse's Siddhartha. Both talk about the spirituality and meditative aspect of mental fortitude.

Help! Flying to Frankfurt with connection in Amsterdam next week. Covid testing rules are not clear when checking the airline website - does anyone know what tests we need to take to entry? Do we need to clear both Netherlands (Schengen entry) and Germany (final destination) requirements or just the final destination ones? We are vaccinated.

How much should I ask for nokia? CCTC-8.yoe-4. java developer gurgaon.

Looking forward to what Sprint Qualifying throws up 🙌🏻

I imagine if nothing goes wrong then order at the end of Sat will be order of pace but I'm sure (or at least I'm praying) some mid-field runner will do something crazy and end up causing an issue to a front runner and that will make Sunday interesting.

What are your thoughts?

Do you all think it'll just be: use softs on Fri set fastest pace, use mediums on Sat and finish in order they qualified, and then 1 stop Med-Hard strategy on Sun?

My wife and I are looking for a local nanny share. Due to the nature of the other couple’s work in the GOV, they want to ensure it’s payroll and not cash under table for the year contract. That sole point is turning away amazingly fit Nannie’s we’ve interviewed as apparently the cultural norm is to commit tax fraud. I’d get it if it were for a summer, but this is a year contract including PTO and holidays coming to roughly ~$25K annual.

Anyone deal with this before? Or know of a solution?

3D printing. Industry on the uptrend, and most stocks still massively off their 2014 highs.

SSYS would be a 6x return just to get back to ATH, and has been flat for 5 years. It’s currently at the low end of that range. That tells me that the risk is low compared to the potential/likely reward over enough time. Using this kind of strategy was successful for me with crypto. What do folks think here?
