I love that you're still trying to make the most of it. I work remote but I'm not necessarily allowed to be in different time zones. It's definitely a great alternative to a raise, especially if you value flexibility to that extent... It's not necessarily a stretch, because many companies are open to flexible work arrangements if they align with productivity and responsibilities. Maybe you could frame it as a benefit for both you and the company, highlighting how it could enhance your work-life balance and boost your productivity. I'm 100% remote and have to work only where I live, due to the differences in tax rates in other states. Not a concern for me though.

Temporary- yes. I could work in a different state in the U.S. but not sure about out of the country. Never tried. Don’t have the money to travel anyway. Hah
There are tax implications for working in other states. The state you work in may be entitled to a portion of your income in taxes. It complicates life for your employer. Some states have separate requirements or fees/taxes on part of the employer based on working in different states, it you are there working your employer is there working.
