Hi Techies,
I want to know that where should move/upskill from networking routing switching to other domains to get more salary.
I feels that networking industry doesn't have deep pocket like others.
Any suggestions of technology/domain?

I would respond and be honest that the salary expectations are not what you're looking for and counter with a higher number. They'll either be willing to negotiate or won't, which will let you know whether you should move on or not.
I’m actually in the same boat right now. I have 1 offer and waiting on 2 other final interviews (they’re just taking longer but told me in advance it would be longer due to scheduling). So what I’m doing for this position is standing my ground on the pay I deserve. Do ur research! I use salary.com and I supported my research with my education experience and drive for exceeding metrics in previous positions. Don’t let them punk u. It’s a negotiation. Salary isn’t the only thing on the table to negotiate, ask what else on the table, pto, bonus, sign on pay, etc.
Turn it down if it’s too low.
Also when your asked about your salary expectations it’s okay to tell them the exact number you want. If you get a range they will either lowball or always give you the lower number you said in your range.
I understand the thoughts here, but I also feel like a range gives some wiggle room...especially if you don't know the cost of insurance or any other benefits yet.
Make it work using a competing offer.
Thanks, I'm trying! Been interviewing like crazy, but some places move faster than others. Getting offers during the same time frame is a bit of a challenge.
If it's a Team Lead position of any sort, that's a low-ball offer.
Move on. Some companies pretend that the salary expectation is okay just to get a qualified person in the door then they try to convince you to take the lower offer. I’ve had that happen once, and I expressed how much a waste of my time it was. The response was “we do that to get candidates in the door” smh
