I got a call from the Google recruiter about my L7 em interview Google She said I did overwhelmingly good on all interviews except one had mixed feedback on a system design. No surprise because it was not a good interview. The recruiter said i had a choice to go to hiring committee, give referrals they could call about my system design or take another system design interview. I’m not confident about the system design because of the bad experience I had with the previous interviewer. What should I do?

Do not wait on the family planning. We assume that pregnancy will happen easily and quickly. After 6 years on my fertility journey, I assure you that is not always the case.
I second this. Of course, planning time off from work with the best benefits is important, but fertility has its own agenda. Don’t wait on work to start family planning. It’s not worth it.
It depends on the company’s policies. Some require you to be there for a certain amount of time before taking paid leave. I personally would wait only long enough to be entitled to benefits.
Acceptable in what sense? Pregnant women interview for jobs all the time.
Personally, I usually advise people to wait to change jobs so they can take full advantage of FMLA and their firm's benefits. Figuring out a new firm's parental leave policy during the interview process seems to be something people struggle with. I see posts asking about it all the time on here.
I would love guidance on this. I accepted a job the 15th (dream job!!) and found out I’m pregnant the 16th. Someone please tell me what to do here haha.
Congratulations!
