A few days ago I was offered a role for a recruiter with a company. Benefits, PTO, pay is decent, enough to get me by. I accepted today because it was the final day to do so. I was then called by a recruiter for another company, in which they made me a better offer for a Generalist and I want to take this one. What do I do? I didn’t sign a contract, there’s no clause that states I need to take the position.
HRIS Professionals, any advice on working in this field? Anything that would make me stand out? I'm looking to see if there's anything else I can do to increase earning potential / become invaluable to any companies I'm at. Been considering Project Management (certified PMP) certification.
Hello I’m an HR Specialist with 6 years exp and I’ve worked with Fortune 500 companies and now I’m looking to transition into a people and culture role in a start up space but I’m having trouble with highlighting my skills to showcase that I’d be a good fit and have the necessary experience. Hello live in LA anyone looking for a National Sales Manager. Am in the staffing employment industry. Thank you,
I applied for an a job and got through 2 of the 4 of interview for this tech sales company for a sdr position. I got scared off about commuting to a job. I pretty much lied to commiting. she said they were still interested in hiring me for a sales roles, to be on the look out for an inside sales role. An ISR role opened up, I applied to it but how do I reintroduce myself to the recruiter, how is the interview process different for an ISR vs an SDR interview? How can I highlight my talents?
Curious, how many companies out there have a dedicated learning and development team? If you don't, who is responsible for the development of your employees?
I’ve been tasked right off the bat with implementing Facebook Workplace as an engagement/communication tool. I looked it up and seems fairly easy, especially as a facebook user. But as with anything it can be a challenge to get employees to actually use/check it. So-- does anyone have experience with Facebook Workplace? If so, what are some things that have worked/didn't work for you. Do you like it?

Does anyone have an offshore supervisor? Ive been working directly with this guy for the last 4-5 months and it’s gotten worse over time. He’s clearly overworked and short with me, underplays my efforts/how I’ve grown, micromanages, and ALWAYS wants things done his way. I’m feeling extremely stifled, because there’s no room for creativity or doing things a different way. I just raised this issue with my career counselor and he said he’s going to discuss it with the account lead.
