I don’t ALWAYS feel that way and it’s a question I ask every time. I got kids. WLB is pretty important to me. Gotta set those boundaries and expectations as early as you can. If it’s a turn off to the interviewer, then you’ll know you don’t want to work there anyway.
Correct. Work culture in the U.S. is abusive.
Companies “say” they want WLB but when you set boundaries, you get an X on your back. Will this change when millennials take leadership positions? In the meantime, what solutions can we be doing to make this normal? I thought this was something GOOD that came from covid with WLB and flex schedules but we are defaulting back to bad behavior
