I'm a 25 YO woman of color interested in traveling solo internationally but I'm a little scared - any tips or tricks to get over the fear? My main concern is safety so would love to know if there are any countries that solo female travelers have felt the most or least safe traveling in!

Being a person of color is such a broad spectrum, it's hard to say what would suit you best without knowing the specifics, but as a general rule, Japan is extremely safe, and a fantastic country to visit.

Why wouldn’t you just answer the question? Your response is rather obnoxious.

Currently going through some negations on an internal role. I’m currently at 88k and they offered me 100k for a position that requires a lot more work. Do you guys think it’s easier to land a higher salary when applying externally rather than internally? Also this is for a territory sales management role. They stated 120k+ is extremely high for that role. What do you guys think? Playing the game?

I was offered a associate manager job in quality in HCL technologies which is in sector 126.... Can someone confirm how much should I expect... My current package is 6.55 lpa and I have total 7+ yr exp and 5.5 relevant exp in quality auditing.

What are your thoughts on invoking the rule of sequestration at a deposition in a case in state court? I have heard some attorneys argue that it is inapplicable, while others have argued that it does apply.

And does your answer change if the "extra" person is adverse to the deponent? For instance, a corporate plaintiff having two reps at the defendant's deposition.

Tell me your craziest experience working with a TV network. Here comes mine:

I'm American, but my family is mostly Colombian. I was told my aunt and cousins would come here for 2 weeks. I discovered they were going to be paid to appear in a famous Hispanic TV show, where a "judge" receives a case, hears the plaintiffs and defendants and renders a verdict. But of course, it's all fake and payed 😂 turns out she wanted me to go there (even though I don't work for that TV network) so she's sure she'll be paid at the end of the show. Wth did I just do.

Any best practices on what has worked to streamline recruiting processes for devs?

2nd stage of our interview process is a technical challenge and a conceptual discussion (system design)

Do any of you have experience with structuring a technical challenge to where it's the same for each candidate? I've had it happen where our devs asked questions to each candidate based on their lived experience vs. a standard set of questions that revolve around what needs to be performed in a dev role.

Does relocation to touristic cities (workations) really work? I have experience working summer jobs in foreign countries and was thinking about doing that now, or at least plan for next year.

I am curious about the impact it has on the work/life balance as well as the mental health, after several years of doing the same position in different companies.

Staying at a Hilton in NC and discovered a massive blood stain on one of the pillows after one night. The stain was clearly there before I arrived, but I did not notice until the next day. How many points?

Will Amex restricting guess access for Centurion Lounge actually make any difference?

I can see short term changes but the way Amex has been aggressively marketing Platinum card, we just will have overcrowding of primary card holders 🤷🏻‍♂️

What's next, everyone has to spend min. 50k a year to get Centurion lounge access or pay per visit.

If anyone is interested in a referral code for a Chase Sapphire Preferred card go ahead and comment so I can dm the link.

Great card for travel, points come fast and great perks for travel.
