But my team keeps pushing me to act like a lead/architect—making me design solution architectures, present to clients, manage user stories, and even handle DevOps pipeline communication. Seniors aren’t stepping up, and I’m stressed being treated like the front-line face. Is this normal for mid-level devs, or just bad management?

Started at a big firm in July with high hopes- in the career path I wanted and I would be joining with other new grads.
After onboarding, it’s as if my team forgets about us every day. The training is non existent, there doesn’t seem to be any initiative to invest in new hires, my manager scolds me for not knowing enough yet gives no direction. My director gave me a 45 day termination warning. I had a random 1:1 with my director last Friday. She essentially told me I have 45 days to increase my activity (I’m a recruiter that gets measured on daily metrics.) After the 45 days if I don’t meet these requirements I will be terminated. As you can imagine I am panicking a little bit, I’ve confided in a few coworkers and they told me to start looking for a new job because even if I meet these metrics I could still be fired.
