I’m a junior partner (last line of defense on my deals) who is stretched thin across multiple matters with associates who still need a lot of hand holding (not their fault, most are retools in my group / havent done my type of work before so I’m still working on training them). Given how stretched I am I’m been starting to make mistakes even never made before (even some things my clients noticed). Any advice on what I can do to stop making mistakes? getting worried I can’t handle being partner

I would pull on your past experiences and see if you can pull someone a bit more experienced than the greener associates on your team. Training is a lot of work.

Being from Minnesota, I think it's so funny when people act as if we are some far-left State just because we hadn't voted Republican in a presidential election since Nixon. Never mind that many of our elections are close or that we have elected Republican Senators and governors.

I have voted for both the GOP and the DFL, and I feel like they are both far more normal than their national counterparts

Long time in the making; but we finally sold off from our 50% HWB short. We had two tests at the 3400 level, getting as high as 3420 today before the sell off. Momentum and pessimism over lack of stimulus could take us to the 3107 target quickly, nearly a 10 percent decline over the next month. Stay short my friends. It's going to get bumpy.
